Don Giovanni Cuvee 2004

Editorial Review by Gregory Dal Piaz:

Pencil lead, some burnt rubber, dark, a bit weirdly volatile on the nose with rather rustic black fruit nose, licorice, carob. Fresh with lovely roundness on entry, ripe and fresh with a nice early rush of herb tinged black cherry fruit, clean and clear on the palate, lovely expression of mineral edged fruit, nice dusty tannins, savory note on the finish, good length, a nice core of chocolaty tannins. 85pts
