Don Giovanni Cabernet Sauvignon 2006

Editorial Review by Gregory Dal Piaz:

Dark, dank earthy, coffee bean, a little roasted green bell, a bit of dirty barrel, tight, lots of acid to this quite red fruited style. The palate shows soft yet fresh tannins and lacks some precision to the flavors, very clear textured though, and crisp and fresh on the finish, which shows decent length, a touch grippy in a good way, a bit of licorice on the finale, a rustic wine that shows some evidence of gaining a bit of finesse. 84pts
