BIERZO, LEON Remarks: Limited ed. 15.000 bottles VITICULTURE SOIL: Hillside and river bench,clay & calcareous composite with slate AGE OF VINES: 60 years old PRUNING: Goblet (Bush-pruning) HARVEST: After green pruning and leaf removal, hand-picked with small crates sorting to the table. VARIETAL BLEND: Mencia 100% MALOLÁCTIC FERMENTATION: 100% in American oak barrel ALCOHOLIC FERMENTATION: Duration: 15 days Temperature: 30º C AGING PROCESS IN BARREL: Capacity: 225 liters Age of barrel: New Type of oak: American and French Level of toast: Light,Medium & heavy.
