Domainetriennes Vin Gris Rosé 2007
External Reviews for Domainetriennes Vin Gris Rosé
A truly special dry rosé, with aromas of fresh peaches and strawberries, and even a bit of pineapple flavor on the palate. Mineral notes show up quite clearly, thanks to the clay and limestone soils in which the vines grow. The "Triennes" bottling comes from a partnership of wineries located in the Var sub-region of eastern France, due north of Bandol. This wine pairs nicely with Cazelle de Saint Affrique, a rich, creamy, semi-soft sheep's milk cheese available online at Murray's Cheese.
