Hand-picking, extremely selective sorting and delicate pressing of the grapes, and finally maturing in oak barrels, are just some of the reasons why Domaine Ott Rose has a reputation of being "the finest rose in the world." A delicious blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache and Cinsault. Domaines Ott's winery is located on a former dwelling of the Counts of Provence, a superb 18th century country house in Provence. The surrounding estate, entirely carved into the rocky land by Marcel Ott, his children and grandchildren, has been remodelled and replanted several times over.
Winemaker's Notes:
The 2008 Château de Selle Côtes de Provence rosé has a pale gold color with brilliant highlights. The noise is dominated by peach and grapefruit aromas, with floral nuances of fleur-de-lis. It is generous and fresh on the palate, with a spicy finish. The elegance and finesse of this wine make it an ideal accompaniment for a whole meal. It can be served with both delicate and strong flavored dishes or simply as an aperitif.
