- Extremely rich, with a nose almost like gingerbread cake. Round, full and unctuous with quite a bit of syrupy richness. This one's like lychee syrup. There's 15 per cent alcohol and quite a bit of sweetness. Very powerful and sweet and this is one of those wines you do wonder how on earth you're going to drink it - with foie gras perhaps?
