Domaine Zind-Humbrecht Gewurztraminer Hengst Vt 2006

External Review:

The 1990 Gewurztraminer Hengst VT is great stuff, with a spectacular cherry, lychee nut, rose-scented nose, viscous, rich, chewy flavors that go on and on, and a huge, explosive finish. This giant of a wine is tied together with searingly high acidity.

During the bloom, trimming consists in shortening the end of the branches leaving just the right quantity of good quality leafs that the young vine needs.
