- The Taupenot 2004s had just been racked the day before my visit and Romain Taupenot was reluctant to present them at the time of my November visit. However, I had the opportunity to taste the bottled '04s this February at the domaine just after they were bottled. Taupenot told me that he waited until the 27th of September to start the harvest and it shows as several of the wines are really quite ripe. (Andrew Bell, New York, NY; Corney & Barrow and Bibendum, UK).
