Food Pairings for Domaine Serene Pinot Noir Willamette Valley Jerusalem Hill
Amazing bottle but still young. Decanted for 2 hours prior to drinking which I would recommend. Big fruit mid palette - classic oregon balance of fruit, minerality and earth. I have 2 more of these that I will patiently it 2 and 4 years before enjoying. Very optimistic about how this wine will age and come together.
"Silky, refined and unexpectedly generous on the finish, this sashaysover the palate with lots in reserve. Starts with pretty currant andblackberry fruit, then deepens with hints of cream, slate and chalknotes, all the while retaining a sense of sweetness and elegance. Drinknow through 2015."94 Points Wine Spectator, June 30, 2008 TASTING NOTES"Beautiful aromas of dark cherry, red raspberry, pipe tobacco, milkchocolate, pomegranate and earth. The palate is rich and supple, showing black raspberry, cherry pie, black currant, rose, violet andoak spice with a persistent and seamless finish."Winery Notes
