Picked up this '03 on a whim (half price) to see if it was still tasting good. Normally, well made whites will stand the test of time and this one definitely has. A little scary at first since the cork split in half on opening but the wine itself is excellent. A mature chardonnay, light honey colored with a bit of a musty nose, the flavors mainly hit the mid palate with oak and subdued lemon/creme brulee. Interesting to taste a good chardonnay that has some age on it.
