Food Pairings for Domaine Sautereau Sancerre Rosé
Situated in the village of Crézancy 7km from the town of Sancerre, this 20 hectare estate has been producing Sancerres for nine generations. The family estate is now being run by David Sautereau, the son of the current owner. He is producing modern, attractive wines that offer excellent value for money. David uses a blend of age-old practises and modern techniques to show the terroir characteristics of Sancerre at their best. The delightful pink wine is bright salmon pink in colour with fresh notes of strawberries and a touch of grapefruit. On the palate it is round and accessible with the same strawberry and grapefruit flavours which were found on the nose.
