The 2004 La Borry is 100% Viognier. Half of the grapes were aged in stainless steel, the other half in oak for nine months. This more structured Viognier has complexity, but remains crisp and aromatic.
A pale golden color precedes a rich nose of white flowers, orange blossoms, and honeydew. A medium-bodied wine, La Borry is grippy with good acidity, and flavors of citrus and white peaches with lovely oak notes. This wine is ready to enjoy this summer through 2008.
