Gold Medal Concours Général Agricole de PARIS 2010 Wine grower, Bruno Romany's family originated from the Romagne region of italy before setting up in the Beaujolais village of Bully where they now own 20 hectares of vineyards. The vineyards are operated using sustainable farming methods and the wine can be traced back to the vine! In 2007 they applied for the 'Terra Vitis' label, under which all grapes must be grown using bio-dynamic farming methods Grapes : 100% Gamay Region : France / Beaujolais AOC Grower : Philippe Merly Notes : Deep ruby red, with ripe violets on the nose and hints of blackcurrant, strawberries and lots of floral notes on the nose. The mouth is well balanced with a tannic finish which blends well with the aromas on the palate. Serve : Cold Meats, fresh fish and chicken dishes. ABV : 12.5%

Winemaker's Notes:

Signé Vigneron is one of the largest producers of Beaujolais wines with over 10% of the total production in the region. The winery was born of passion from modern and daring people, proud of the knowledge inherited from their ancestors and proud of their territory, the Beaujolais. Signé Vigneron is made up of 2 wineries: Vignoble Bully and Vignoble Quincié. The vineyards are planted mainly on slopes facing south, the grapes are grown on small areas and have low yields, typical of Beaujolais. They are moving towards organic viticulture.
