The nose is deep and meaty,with dark starwberry preserve, and some earthy undertones. On the palate, medium weight, with dark cherry / strawberry, some mineral, charred wood, and a bit of clove. Nice long, lean finish with lingering spice notes. Well balanced, with moderate acidity and medium grained tannins. Solid, but not extracted or overly ripe.91 Pts.
