By happenstance, I had a chance to taste this in early March. A full report on the domaine's whites will be in the next Issue. (Diageo Château and Estate, New York, NY; Corney & Barrow, Farr Vintners, O.W. Loeb, La Réserve and Howard Ripley, all UK). The first wine to display any hints of wood spice, framing rather floral and airy fruit aromas with open, accessible, forward and rather fruity flavors and a naturally sweet finish. This is certainly delicious and offers good complexity but this lacks the same verve and vibrancy of the best here.
