Wow. Light wine, this pinot gris is like eating a jolly rancher green apple candy. Strong green apple. Nice but not enough crisp acidity to handle much fat in the meal.

In my opinion the ultimate go to white for casual nights. Great honey suckle, stone fruits, white flowers on the nose. Melon, honey, and lemon lime flavors dominate the palate. Incredibly easy drinking, this is what an Oregon pinot gris is supposed to taste like.

A dry Pinot Gris (a.k.a. Pinot Grigio) that's full of flowers and citrus fruit on the palate. This is surprisingly rich, both in body and texture.

There's a crisp edge to the apple and honeydew aromas and flavors, which echo nicely on the finish. Drink now.

Bright and lively, brimming with lemon meringue, golden raisin and green tea character. Finishes with zip. Drink now.

Round and generous, with layers of spicy apple, pear and melon flavors on a polished frame. A bit more stylish than most.

King Estate is certainly the largest producer of Pinot Gris in Oregon, and probably in the country. Unlike the PGs that dominate the market, this is a fleshy wine, with lush flavors of pear and subtle cinnamon scents. All stainless steel fermented, aged sur lie for a bit of creamy texture, it's just slightly over 13% alcohol, making it a terrific oyster wine and flat-out food friendly for all your shellfish and lighter pastas.

Winemaker's Notes:

Light straw with emerald green hue. Aromas of green apple, citrus, honeysuckle, white peach, apricot and floral notes. Flavors of pear, melon, lemon and lime, wet stone, kiwi and honey. The palate has a soft, rich entry, nice texture, good weight and a long, lively crisp finish.
