Nice nose of lemon/lime and baked apple. Very crisp palate with citrus and tropical fruit notes, and a hint of cinnamon. Lengthy, tart finish. Good acidity and balance, and a great wine for a warm spring/summer day.

Made with 40% Ugni Blanc, 20% Gros Manseng, 20% Colombard, 15% Chardonnay and 5% Sauvignon Blanc. Red grapefruit, citrus fruits and an intriguing herbal note make for an ideal flavor combination. The wine sees no malolactic fermentation, which helps guard its acidity and make it especially refreshing.

Winemaker's Notes:

Forey works a one-third hectare parcel in the northern part of the Montiotes Basses section of the Clos. One part of the vines were planted in 1968 and another part in 1972. Forey's version of this appellation is particularly sturdy.
