Domaine Marc Kreydenweiss Riesling Alsace Aoc Andlau 2007

Member Review by Uwe Kristen:

Pale lemon color. It has an invigorating youthful nose of pronounced citrus fruit and minerality. Dry on the palate with a crisp acidity and the same citrus freshness as the nose revealed. It has a pronounced mineral flavor and a well-balanced medium high alcohol level that adds some weight to the stony flavors. Medium length. Although perfectly drinkable now, it is still a bit raw and edgy and will benefit from another year or two in bottle to show its inherent qualities with more refinement. Drink 2010-20.

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.
