User Reviews for Domaine Lignier Michelot les Faconnieres Morey-St-Denis Ml

Winemaker's Notes:

"A more restrained yet similar nose marries into seductively textured, lacy and ultra pure flavors that are wonderfully refined, indeed to the point where they possess a silky mouth feel and culminate in a superbly long finish that is the epitome of finesse. This is terrific and highly recommended...91-94" BH 01/11 "Good full, deep red. Deep, complex nose offers musky mocha, smoked meat, wild herbs and soil tones to go with the ripe plum fruit. Suave on entry, then impressively silky, lush and concentrated in the middle. At once fuller and more vibrant than the Charmes. Builds and expands on the chewy, saline, perfumed finish, with big, broad dusty tannins to support good mid-term ageability. Very Morey-Saint-Denis, and the clearest expression of its terroir among these 2009s today...92" IWC 3/12
