The name Las Vals means little valley in the local dialect. From the Roman fort perched high onRoland's Rock, one not only has a spectacular view of this breathtaking valley which is steeped in thehistory of the region, but also an understanding of the unique character of this terroir. Varietals: 85% Mourvedre, 15% Syrah A lovely nose of spicy cigar box, earth,and sweet black cherries. Lusciousflavors of mouth-filling black plums andcherries with a long, lingering finish.
