The 2007 Cotes du Rhone Trois Soeurs is a blend of 65% Grenache and the rest Syrah and Carignan, one-third of which is aged in older barrels for four months, and two-thirds in tank. It hit 14.5% natural alcohol. A big, full-bodied style reveals delicious black currant and black cherry fruit along with hints of licorice, pepper, and spice box. This opulent Cotes du Rhone should drink nicely for 3-4 years.

Its dense plum color is accompanied by notes of white chocolate, crushed berry fruit, earth, and licorice. Broad, savory, and silky textured, this delicious, enormously satisfying 2009 should drink well for 2-3 years.
This red from the southern Rhône area is made from organic grapes and is bottled unfiltered. Mainly Syrah, Mourvedre and Grenache, it reveals a darker fruit flavor of black cherry, prunes and tobacco, with slight characteristics of the terroir.
Nicely done, a delicious blend of Grenache and Syrah (greater percentage of Grenache). Ultra-smooth texture; sophisticated nose of earth, fruit and funk. A noteworthy value you don't want to pass over.
Sommelier-turned-viticulteur Mark Besnardeau and importer Peter Weygandt collaborated to produce this special cuvée of 70% Grenache and 30% Syrah from vineyards in and around Cairanne. The heat of the '03 growing season yielded spectacular density and purity, particularly noticeable in the sweet, velvety tannins that surround the intense raspberry fruit at the center of this wine.
