- I taste 95% of any given vintage's whites some 18 months after the harvest. All of the Leflaive whites are by that time in tank except for the Montrachet. A hint of wood frames incredibly powerful, rich and expressive aromas of marvelous breadth but as complex and fine as the nose is, the flavors offer phenomenal punch, purity and such sheer size and richness that this has the volume of a <i>grand cru</i> red.
