- Still quite tight and this just drips minerality, precision and refinement from every aspect of the wine. After 10 years, this is finally beginning to display the solid character and extremely good concentration that I always thought was hidden in the wine's core as for years it was tight as a drum and it is only just now beginning to open. I would be inclined to begin drinking this in earnest now though to be sure there is plenty of life left here. Flat out classic Chevalier. Tasted many times with consistent notes.

- Still quite tight with aromatics that simply ooze minerality, precision and refinement with flavors that seem to etch themselves into the palate. Almost painfully intense and wonderfully long, this is still quite young. Breed to burn here and while it doesn't offer the power and muscularity of the Bâtard or the Montrachet, this offers a still higher level of refinement.
