Candied cherry nose. Nice tannin grip in the midpalate, with flavors of spice and black cherry.

Made from old Carignan, Grenache and Syrah grown at 350m by Julien Zernott of Domaine Henri Pellé in Menetou-Salon in the Loire and Delphine Rousseau, this is an exciting newcomer to me. Exceedingly fresh, presumably thanks to the altitude, with very honest fruit and great excitement.
