Domaine Larue Saint-Aubin les Combes 2014

Winemaker's Notes:

"Our Saint-Aubin 1er Cru "Les Combes" is extremely bright and limpid in appearance. It releases its bouquet very quickly. The mouth is rounded and fat. This is a wine of real delicacy. The terroir lies in the southern part of the Saint-Aubin appellation bordering the Puligny-Montrachet appellation. It faces south at an altitude of 240 metres in the little upland valley ("combe") which opens on to the village of Saint-Aubin. The soil is red alluvium. These Chardonnay vines were planted in 1985 at a density of 10,000 plants per hectare. Surface area 0.46 ha. A small stream, called "La Planchotte" runs through the plot." -Winery
