Food Pairings for Domaine Labrande Cahors
Nicely packaged in screw cap (Stelvin style closure), this modern style Cahors does not disappoint with its deep, rich red color, enticing earthy (wet soil) and plum nose, and savory, mildly tannic medium finish. This is not a particularly open or complex wine, but it is balanced and very well-made - extremely attractive given the under 20 dollar price. Very Cahors and highly recommended - especially to those who might want to compare with a similarly priced Argentine Malbec and want to keep to certain price ranges. Will age a few years to boot.
