Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.

Deep ruby core with a thin pinkish rim. Youthful nose with a prncd aromas of blackberry, farmyard, ash, roast beef and hay. Dry, medium amount of ripe tannins. High alcohol. Full body. Prncd intensity of blackberry, bitter chocolate, dark cherry and thyme. Medium length with a slightly vegetal finish. A wine of the dark elements, but more Sisters of Mercy than Joy Division. Although still a bit vegetal, there is no austerity. In a few years this may turn into quite a lush wine due to its rich fruit character. Drink now until 2015.

Lovely nose of dried red cherries, earth, cedar which translates nicely on the palate which finishes off with medium acidity and notable tannins. Can age for years to come! Mourvèdre (55 %), Grenache (20 %), and Cinsault (15 %) and from Carignan (10 %)

Rich, vibrant ruby, with no trace of lightening or ambering at the rim. Extravagantly perfumed, almost indescribable nose: watermelon, black cherry cola, ginger root, spearmint, freshly-baked bread, a

A classic blend of Mourvèdre, Cinsault and Carignan. Dark fruits, hints of cedar and beautiful age progression. Bandol with age is not to be missed. The evolution is phenomenol. This is still quite young and just showing moderate age.
