Domaine la Combe Blanche "Calamiac Terroir" 2005
Rich and slightly rustic in style, the wine has aromas of plums, cassis, blackberries and herby bramble, with candied fruit and chocolate notes that yield to licorice, spice and tar as it unfolds. Ripe tannins and acidity give the wine structure. Full bodied with a long finish, the wine is made from a blend of 30% Cinsault, 30% Syrah, 20% Carignan, and 20% Grenache.
