Domaine Joseph Voillot Volnay Vieilles Vignes 2010
The iron-rich soils of Pommard give this Pinot Noir its gamey, earthy notes. Jean-Pierre Charlot, the current winemaker at this 5th generation estate is adamant about keeping use of new oak to under 30% with the result that the wines are extremely elegant. Age for the next up to five years for best results.Add winemaker's notes
RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.

This fifth generation estate with property in Beaune and Pommard is rigorous when it comes to keeping yields low, hand harvesting, and sorting before the press. The estate is tradtional in that oak use is kept to a maximum of 30%. Each wine is a brilliant refection of vintage and terroir.
