Editorial Reviews for Domaine Jamet Côte-Rôtie
This is still very open with ripe orchard fruits, dried herbs that recall tobacco and sizzling bacon exploding from the glass. Perhaps a bit sweeter than Jamet of the past but with great intensity and force on the nose. In the mouth there is the immediate impact of the highish acidity. With air this rounds out well and reveals more than enough fleshy, blackberry, boysenberry, black olive tinged fruit to support the structure as the tannins embed themselves well. I can see this improving for some time and it is an excellent Jamet but best to keep hands off for 3-5 years. 2010-2022 92pts
