Ultra pure and extremely fresh and still quite youthful aromas that are now displaying a lovely mix of primary and the initial hints of secondary development. The rich, round and very dense flavors are cool and reserved yet possess excellent precision and outstanding balance plus an exceptionally long backend, all wrapped in punchy finishing acidity. This is a serious wine that is knocking on the door of its peak.

As Jean-Marc Roulot often achieves with his reference standard Perrières, the 95 has a stunning nose of white flowers and intense minerality followed by dense, relatively powerful flavors that manage to avoid the heaviness that plagues so many wines from Meursault in 95. Pure, detailed and rich with flavors that are intense and refined yet seemingly weightless. A very, very impressive effort that displays outstanding persistence on the long finish.
