One of the best greek chardonnays! Intense on the nose with ripe peach, melon and reach vanilla and hazelnuts. The palate is thick with all the fruit and the nuts being accomplished by good acidity. Could stay for 5-6 more years.

Rich mouthfeel, honeyed texture and citrusy scents on the palate, as well as nuances of dried nuts and vanilla. This state of the art winery is surrounded by 55 hectares of meticulously well cared vineyards on the slopes of Epanomi. It is the brainchild of Vangelis Gerovassiliou who inititated the revival of the family vineyard by planting the nearly extinct Malagousia in 1981. Domaine Gerovassiliou guarantees consistent, high quality wines of international acclaim every year. Grapes : 100% Chardonnay Region : Greece / Macedonia / Epanomi PGI Maker : Evangelos Gerovassiliou Notes : Bright pale yellow in colour with a rich mouthfeel, honeyed texture and citrusy scents on the palate, as well as nuances of dried nuts and vanilla. This wine is capable of improving for several more years due to its strength and character. Serve: Serve chilled at 10 - 12c with white flesh fish, grilled seafood, oysters, clams and also entrées prepared with caviar and sauces. ABV : 13% Suitable for vegetarians
