Still quite deeply colored with a nose that offers notes of ripe black pinot fruit and hints of game, fur and smoke. The penetrating and detailed flavors are surprisingly supple on the mid-palate with bright acidity and tannins that are quite ripe, all wrapped in a rich, long and sweet finish. This is somewhat more feminine in style than the typical Roumier Musigny with superb elegance, style and that extra dimension that all genuinely great wines have. In short, this is simply stunning.

The mostly deeply colored of these 96s with a nose that offers game, fur and smoke. The flavors are quite supple with bright acidity and tannins that are quite ripe. Quite beguiling in its subtlety with rich, long and sweet flavors. This is somewhat more feminine in style than the typical Roumier Musigny with superbly detailed flavors. I liked this a lot though it will require a long time to completely deliver its awesome potential. In short, simply stunning.
