The darkest of these 95s and this too is quite floral on the nose with unbelievably complex spice notes of anise, clove, leather and tea. The flavors offer a remarkable mix of primary and secondary flavors with crushed berries combining with trace hints of underbrush and dried rose petals. Wonderfully dense and rich yet the wine floats on the palate. It's hard to describe how something so big and rich can at the same time be so effortlessly graceful. Simply drop dead gorgeous and the clear class of these 95s.

Still a deep ruby color. This too is quite floral on the ripe black fruit nose that is nuanced by unbelievably complex spice notes of anise, clove, leather and tea. The big, powerful and sleekly muscled flavors are beautifully concentrated and this is currently a bruiser of a Musigny with its robust but not inelegant tannins seamlessly merging into a hugely long and palate staining finish. This is one of those wines that has real presence and that extra dimension of true greatness that will age for decades. A drop dead gorgeous and effortlessly graceful effort that is at least a decade away from its majority.
