Winemaker's Notes:

92-94 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): (from a huge 2.05 ha parcel). A brilliantly layered nose of impressive depth and breadth speaks of similar aromas as the Combe Aux Moines though this is more Gevrey in character. This is a powerful wine with plenty of mid-palate concentration to the amazingly rich, intense and tautly muscular flavors that culminate in a mouth coating, balanced and astonishingly long finish. A classic Cazetiers with everything that it needs to reward 15+ years of cellar time. Drink: 2025+. (Jan 2012)
