This is sweet and fruity on the nose, but there are intensely sappy underlying notes along with plenty of sweetening wood spice and a nice pretty floral note. Rich and dense with a weighty feel reinforced by the oak here, but plenty of fresh, clean fruit and a nice bit of limestone underpinning it all. The finish shows off nice cherry pit fruit in a big, powerful style but this remains sappy, long and fresh. 92 pts

There is a lot of power in this wine. It has great weight and richness and an intense structure. Hanging from the frame of the wine are dark plum fruits, layers of wood, sweet spice, complex acidity and dry tannins. Age for 6ndash;7 years.

A seductive style, with sweet spice, sandalwood, floral and cherry aromas and flavors allied to a silky texture. Itrsquo;s all beautifully balanced and ends with refined, integrated tannins for focus. Excellent length and freshness. Best from 2014 through 2030.

A classic Gevrey nose of pungent earth, underbrush and a sauvage note to the red and dark berry fruit aromas. There is also a touch of wood that does not affect the transparency of the very rich, full-bodied and minerally flavors that possess ample a... Burghound. A Pinot Noir wine from Burgundy in France. 2009 Faiveley Gevrey Chambertin Combe Aux Moines Premier Cru 750ml
