Domaine Faiveley Corton Clos des Cortons Faively 2006

Winemaker's Notes:

Deep color, very dark garnet. The nose opens on notes empyreumatic and of black fruits (woody, toast, smoke, black currants, mulberries). The attack is rich, fleshy, followed in the mouth with extreme concentration that possesses, nevertheless, a certain minerality suggesting graphite. Despite its imposing structure, this grand cru possesses round, silky, very ripe tannins that are an integral part of the charm of this great vintage. This Corton, racy and powerful, will be appreciated even more after 1 or 2 years of aging: your patience will be rewarded.
