Domaine Fabrice Larochette Macon Chaintre 2009
Fabrice Larochette is a Mâcon miracle man. Mâcon has become the ultimate place to invest in. Domaine Leflaive has also bought land after Domaine des Comtes Lafon in 1999. Having tasted the vintages 2010 and 2011, Fabrice Larochette will have performed brilliantly five vintages in a row.
Very citrusy aromas, like a citrus bomb. Surprisingly smooth though, and very refreshing.
Pale straw color. Rich nose of green apple, pear and pineapple. Medium bodied with nutty creamy marshmallow, tart lemon and minerality. Medium tart finish with some wet stones. Excellent value.
Very good wine.
Citrus and apple with a bit of honey. Sweet on the finish.
Apples & pears, fun and a bit of happiness
