Domaine Dujac Clos Saint Denis 2015

Winemaker's Notes:

"The 2015 Clos Saint-Denis Grand Cru has a very mineral-driven bouquet, a mixture of red and black fruit, a captivating marine influence coming through with superb delineation. The palate is beautifully balanced with orange zest infusing the bright red fruit, perhaps showing the growing season a little more than the Echézeaux, but what I like here is the crescendo of flavor and the intensity on the bravura finish. It feels tightly coiled at the moment but it will surely spread its wings once in bottle." - Neal Martin, Wine Advocate *(94-96 Points)*

Awesome wine. Captivating nose with earth, chalk, saline, minerals, pinot fruit with some violets in the background. The palate is a velvet ball of flavor that is a joy to drink- pure pinot fruit and earth intertwined with a finish that goes forever. This a an understated, yet very confident wine- refined, elegant and delicious.

Good bright medium. Pretty perfume of red cherry, raspberry, minerals and rose petal. Juicy and intense if a bit youthfully imploded, showing lovely sappy energy to the spicy red fruit and raspberry flavors. This wonderfully suave, palate-coating ... Stephen Tanzers IWC. Here too an adroit application of wood serves as a discreet foil for the more obvious floral aromas that enjoy added scope from the presence of pure, spicy and highly complex red and dark berry scents. There is an abundance of mouth coating extract t... Burghound. A Pinot Noir wine from Burgundy in France. 2011 Domaine Dujac Clos St Denis 750ml

The 2010 Clos St. Denis is downright explosive from the first taste. An exotic melange of dark cherries, plums, minerals and cloves are all supported by insistent underlying minerality. The wine continues to grow in the glass, as layers of flavor fil... Robert Parkers Wine Advocate. A Pinot Noir wine from Burgundy in France. 2010 Domaine Dujac Clos St Denis 750ml

Bright red-ruby. Musky, brooding aromas of dark fruits, mocha, spices and minerals; appears to be shutting down on the nose. Dense, large-scaled and packed with fruit and extract. The liqueur-like black raspberry, underbrush and licorice root flavors... Stephen Tanzer's IWC. A Pinot Noir wine from Burgundy in France. 2005 Domaine Dujac Clos St Denis 1500ml
