Domaine du Trapadis Red Rhone Blend Côtes du Rhône Villages Rasteau 2007
80% Grenache, 10% Carignan and 10% Mourvèdre from 60-year-old vines. Not yet reviewed; last review was 91 points by Robert Parker for 2005 vintage: ...exhibits a dense purple color as well as a bouquet of chocolate, black cherry, blackberry, licorice, crushed rock and earth. Full-bodied, powerful, and rich, with sweet tannins (which provide current accessibility), it should evolve easily for 8-10 years.
External Reviews for Domaine du Trapadis Red Rhone Blend Côtes du Rhône Villages Rasteau
A full-bodied yet elegant wine from the Côtes du Rhône town of Rasteau. Dark berried, spicy geranium florals and clay mineral accents yield to a nice supple finish. Great with steak au poivre.
