Domaine du Salvard Cheverny 2012

Winemaker's Notes:

A beautiful domaine from France's Loire valley, the vineyards used for this have been in the Delaille family for around 100 years. This blend of 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Gamay has a pale purple color and a nose that leaps out of the glass with cherry earth and forest floor. Flavors of rasberry and coco shine with a background of tea like tannins and fresh clean mineral. Delicous and worth nearly twice the price. All in all a great bottle.Ben6/29/11
