Food Pairings for Domaine du Petit Val Bonnezeaux la Montagne
La Montagne represents Denis Goizil's finest Bonnezeaux, from a 50 year oldsingle-vineyard on rocky/schistous soils, the fine botrytised fruit washand-harvested by successive 'tries' before being fermented in stainless-steelcuves. The result: moreishly rich, focused custard-cream, honeyed, floralaromas are matched on the palate by a supremely elegant, delicate if decadentlyrich wine, to be drunk now till 2020, particularly with rich terrines, foiegras, and blue cheese. (David Berry Green, BBR Buyer)
