After maturing for four years in wooden casks this wine was bottled in November 1999. This great vintage is just today beginning to express it full potential. Always a richly structured and complex wine the long ‘elevage’ in the barrel accelerated the development of the jammy fruit aromas which have shaded into realm of the spices and coffee. It should be giving pleasure for the next 10-15 years.
