Domaine du Grapillon d'Or Gigondas 2005
Created for more than 5 generations ago and in the winery we have numerous old oak barrels, where the wines are made respecting tradition and modern know-how.
This is a bottle that always takes about an hour of air to really come around, after which blue fruit, flower petals, ginger snaps, raw almonds and pepper dominate the noes. On the palate you find a full and soft mouthfeel with fresh blackberry, violet candies, minerals (bit of copper penny) and sage followed by zippy acidity and a clean blackberry finish.
