A combination of anise, spices, Meditteranean herbs and green olives produces this full-bodied aromatic wine. This mid-palate wine should age gracefully, expands when opened and retains its boldness on the finish. The 2003 Domaine du Castel Grand Vin is a left Bank Bordeaux style blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot, aged for 24 months in French oak barrels, unfiltered. Drink now-2014.
