Dry and medium bodied with a pinecone flavor and almost no fruit. Not very enjoyable on its own but paired great with some pepper jack cheese.

Decanted 3 hours and stored in vacu-sealed bottle 15+ hours. spicy bouquet of roses and violets, dark bramble fruit and stone fruits. dark garnet color, medium-light body. Soft black cherry with notes of tobacco and oak. finish is slow to emerge with more stonefruit and vanilla. More enjoyable on the 2nd day with no need for food pairing.
