Sugary oranges on the nose with a coarse, sweet mouthfeel. Would like it more if the finish offered up a little more.
a wonderful chardonnay with a nose that reminded me of a cream pie with a dash of lemon-lime and soft apple and pear. The body is medium and refreshing.
Green apples and gooseberries on the nose. Oily, and spicy, with a rich creamy character. Excellent mouth feel. Crisp mineral finish, with some warming spice. Very nice for $15-$17
Not getting much on the nose for this one. Taste doesn't have much personality either. Mediocrity is rewarded with a below average rating.
Light peach and a bit of funk on the nose. Palate has a bit of oak, some citrus and a nice warm finish. Good. Clean. Unoffensive.
External Reviews for Domaine des Terres Dorees Chardonnay Beaujolais
The 3 hectares of limestone outcropping on Jean-Paul Brun’s 40-acre estate is devoted entirely to Chardonnay. And because southern Beaujolais is warmer that the Côte d’Or, he allows the wine to express the natural rich, fruity character of a youthful Chardonnay without any use of oak which will become more honeyed as the wine ages. Tremendous value for your money!
