Domaine des Terres Dorees Beaujolais Blanc 2013

Winemaker's Notes:

89 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): Jean-Paul Brun's 2013 Beaujolais Blanc is a very pretty example of the vintage and a fine bottle of chardonnay, as it offers up a soil-driven nose of apple, peach, gentle leesy tones, a lovely base of stony soil, white flowers and a bit of citrus peel. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and complex, with a good core, sound acids, very good focus and balance and a long, classy finish. This is every bit as satisfying as many a top Mâcon and sells for far less, making ita lovely value. 2014-2019. (Jul/Aug 2014)
