Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.

Remizier's Crozes Hermitage, his bread-and-butter wine, is juicy, spicy, mouth-filling and seductive, yet relatively light-on-its-feet. It captures the spicy, smoky, leathery quality of Syrah from the northern Rhone in an especially accessible style. It would be difficult to find a better red wine from France at this ever-so-gentle price point.
