- The saturated ruby/purple-colored 2004 Chateauneuf du Pape Les Petits Pieds de l'Armand offers a super-concentrated black raspberry and cherry nose intermixed with melted licorice notes. It is a backward, seriously endowed, full-bodied effort with moderately high tannin, but great richness and depth as well as a Provencal personality.
